| Our
Philosophy It
is our delight and privilege to represent our
Lord through the avenue of martial arts. In
everything we do we strive to please the Lord
Jesus Christ. Our students are instructed at
every class on the importance of spiritual and
personal maturity. Every person is treated with
respect, in and out of class.
We set Jesus Christ before us as the example
we are to follow. Following Christ attitude
and actions is paramount for us.

Every training evolution is not just to learn how to
punch, kick, or to use the right movement. No, the most
important part of our training is character development.
The over-riding principles of this school are love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control. Numerous parents have
already seen an improvement in their child's discipline
and personal growth, along with their martial arts skills.
Testing for some is very intimidating. We take as much
fear out as possible. Every tester will go through a
mock test prior to the actual test. This raises their
confidence and anticipation. Also, we make sure each
student is ready, because his or her self-esteem is
important. Character is a greater priority than belt
level here at Cornerstone Martial Arts College. Everyone
is judged on his or her ability.

| Special
Message to Parents:
The principles of love, respect, understanding, and
kindness towards others, that you are trying to instill
in your children, will be reinforced in our classes.
Our goal will be to supplement your personal training
and not replace your teachings or those of your church.
One of the ways to show true love toward your children
is to let them possess the power of self-defense. Children
gain self-confidence, a better sense of discipline,
coordination, and the ability to defend themselves.
These and many more are practical assets to life.
They are introduced in an atmosphere of respect and
discipline. This could be a priceless, lifetime gift
for those you love.
We highly recommend, that children 6-10, be given the
opportunity to learn the martial arts. The training
they receive in mental and physical conditioning will
be part of their lives as adults. It is our extreme
honor to train your children physically and mentally
in the martial art world.

| Students
and Parents speak out:
"My
son was disruptive at school and church. He
was unable to concentrate on prescribed tasks
and assignments without the aid of others. However,
in less than four weeks, I have seen some vast
improvement in his attention span, personal
discipline, and his study habits. Instructors'
Hansley and Webber, have a great way with all
the children. They know how to have fun and
bring discipline to the children."
Father of 7 year old
"I was told that our son would never walk again.
He had Spina Bifida when he was young. Until
he started at Cornerstone Martial Arts College
he would not work very hard in therapy on his
weak leg. Now he is able to stand on each leg
and kick. This has been a miracle for him and
we could not be happier."

"I cannot believe I did it! I broke a board with my feet and hands!
This is the first time I have even done anything like this. It
was as hard as I expected, but the instructors prepared me well
in advance. I knew I could do it because God was helping me, and
I had so many people believing in me."
Student age 10
"When my wife and I were looking to get into better shape, we
sought out Chaplain Webber because of his personal discipline.
From the calisthenics, stretching, diet, and exercise program
that he gave us, we have lost over 60 pounds together. We feel
much better and are enjoying live much more. His program is the
best we have ever seen or used."
Grand Father and Mother of six (both in
their 60's)
"In the first few days of lessons, I was very inflexible. However,
I determined to become more flexible. By stretching everyday for
about 15-20 minutes I am almost doing the complete splits. When
I started the splits, I was just able to do a 90 degree stretch,
now I am doing a 150 degree stretch. I really feel good about
myself."
